Overview:
Abacus Staffing is looking for a motivated and experienced Staffing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on high-volume recruitment for light industrial positions, including roles in warehouse, manufacturing, and production environments. The ideal candidate will excel in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates, have excellent communication skills, adapt well to a fast-paced setting, and be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for light industrial roles (e.g., assemblers, pickers/packers, forklift drivers, machine operators) 🔧
• Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements 🤝
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, internal databases, and community outreach 🌐
• Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and onboarding processes for high-volume roles 📞
• Maintain candidate pipelines and facilitate timely placements to meet client demands 🔄
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies ⚖️
• Provide bilingual support to candidates and clients (English/Spanish) 🗣️
• Keep accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and prepare regular recruitment reports 📊

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in high-volume light industrial staffing or recruiting 🏭
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required 🗣️🇪🇸
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 📝
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment ⏱️
• Proficiency with recruiting tools such as ATS, job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite 💻
• Knowledge of local labor market and workforce trends is a bonus 📈
