Haitian Creole Interpreter Opportunity

Language Services Associates (LSA) is seeking dedicated Haitian Creole interpreters in Neptune, NJ. As part of LSA's network of Independent Contractors, you'll facilitate crucial communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings—medical, legal, and customer service. We're constantly welcoming qualified interpreters for a wide array of assignments! 📞🌐

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to clients and stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality by adhering to our Code of Professional Conduct
• Follow policies and procedures, including interpreting protocols and industry best practices
• Complete training(s) and actively participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Qualifications & Experience

• Full fluency in English and Haitian Creole
• Knowledge of, and ability to comply with, industry standards and best practices (professionalism, courtesy, protocol, confidentiality)
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service
• Access to personal or public transportation
• At least 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred)
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings such as CMI, CCHI, etc. (preferred)
