Cantonese Interpreter Position

Language Services Associates is seeking Cantonese interpreters in the Mansfield, OH area. As part of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate essential language communication in medical, legal, and customer service environments. We are continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality standards
• Follow all policies and procedures, including interpretation protocols and industry best practices
• Complete training sessions and engage in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Qualifications & Experience

• Full fluency in both English and Cantonese
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with industry standard best practices (e.g., professionalism, courtesy, protocol, confidentiality)
• Strong ability to deliver high-level client service
• Access to personal or public transportation
• At least 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings (such as CMI, CCHI) are a plus
