Cantonese Interpreter Opportunity

Overview

Language Services Associates is seeking experienced Cantonese interpreters in the Green Bay, WI area. As part of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate effective communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings including medical, legal, and customer service. We are always accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments!

Responsibilities

• Provide: Superior customer service to clients and stakeholders
• Maintain: Strict adherence to the Code of Professional Conduct, including confidentiality standards
• Follow: All policies and procedures, ensuring professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices are upheld
• Complete: Required training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Full fluency in both English and Cantonese
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with industry standard best practices (professionalism, courtesy, protocol, confidentiality)
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality client service
• Access to personal or public transportation
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/training (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
