Job Description

We are seeking an experienced On-Site English-Arabic Interpreter based in the Rhode Island area. This role involves providing accurate consecutive interpretation services in person, bridging communication in medical, social services, customer service, and financial environments.

As an interpreter, you will facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure understanding and proper care.

Contract Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consecutive interpretation services
• Follow all Kreato Global policies and procedures related to confidentiality and ethics
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other regulatory standards
• Establish and uphold high-quality service and positive interactions with patients, customers, visitors, healthcare providers, and staff
• Continuously expand vocabulary and domain-specific knowledge

Requirements

• Submission of an updated resume
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Reliable transportation access
• Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including but not limited to:
  • TB
  • MMR
  • Varicella
  • Hep B (or declination)
  • TDAP
  • Seasonal Influenza (Flu)
  • Covid
• Successful completion of a drug test, background check, and security screening
• Signed commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and HIPAA compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 1 year of interpreting experience
• Knowledge of Kreato Global’s evaluation process, aligned with standards from NCIHC, IMIA, and CHIA
