Role Overview

The Offshore Materials Supervisor will be integral to our offshore materials team, managing logistics, inventory, and shipment procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our FPSO. The role involves collaboration with onshore teams, maintaining precise stock records, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Be a key member of the offshore materials team alongside OMS.
• 🚢 Assist with cargo handling operations, including landing containers on deck and managing materials.
• 📦 Track, receipt, and control inventory of materials and equipment on the FPSO.
• 📝 Maintain accurate stock level records and monitor consumption rates.
• 🤝 Collaborate with onshore procurement teams to ensure timely material acquisition.
• 🚚 Plan and coordinate transportation of materials to ensure availability when needed.
• 🌍 Address transportation, customs, and logistics issues promptly.
• 🗃️ Prepare and maintain documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.
• 🦺 Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• 🔒 Implement safety protocols for handling, storage, and transportation of materials.
• 🎯 Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
• 🤝 Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and Engineering teams to understand needs.
• 📝 Participate in meetings to update on material status and resolve issues.
• 💰 Contribute to material budgeting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• 🚨 Develop emergency response plans for materials management.
• 🔍 Identify process improvements for inventory control and logistics.
• 🎓 Provide training on materials handling to offshore personnel.
• 🌱 Stay informed on industry advancements and incorporate best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field (advantage).
• 🚜 Forklift driver license (advantage).
• ⏳ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in materials or logistics roles.
• 🤝 Proven ability to manage vendors and projects professionally.
• 📦 Familiarity with materials management practices.
• 💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 🌊 Offshore experience (advantage).
• 🖥️ SAP and MAXIMO software experience (advantage).
