The Off-shift Operations Manager oversees clinical care delivery, enhances quality of life for patients, and manages care outcomes on off-shift teams. They ensure every patient’s autonomy, dignity, and choice are prioritized while managing daily operations, staff scheduling, quality improvement initiatives, and budget considerations. The manager collaborates with team members to successfully implement and sustain the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center model of care across all units.

🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Manage off-shift clinical operations, including nursing scheduling, electronic systems, and quality improvement projects.
- Patient-Centered Care: Promote and role-model person-centered care, respecting patient dignity and autonomy.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and front-line staff, fostering ongoing and creative communication strategies.
- Teamwork & Mentorship: Foster a collaborative environment, mentor staff to achieve high-quality care, and support professional growth.
- Clinical Outcomes & Quality: Monitor, mentor, and educate on best practices; assist in designing action plans for continuous improvement.
- Financial & Resource Management: Contribute to budget planning, oversee staffing levels, and streamline workflows for efficiency.
- Relationship Building: Develop positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members; lead by example in coaching and communication techniques.
- Staff Development & Scheduling: Hire, develop, and empower staff members; oversee nurse scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- System Oversight & Compliance: Administer ShiftWizard system and ensure adherence to policies, leading change management proactively.
- Committee Engagement & Professional Growth: Participate in committees, stay updated with leadership workshops, and enhance management skills.
🎯 Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant clinical and management experience.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, observational skills, adaptability, and commitment to excellence.
