Role Summary 📝

The Remote Occupational Therapist will deliver occupational therapy services to Spanish-speaking patients via telehealth. You'll manage a diverse caseload, assess patient needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic interventions to foster improved functional abilities and independence.

Responsibilities ✅

• Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of physical, cognitive, and emotional functions to define patient needs and goals.
• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment goals based on assessment findings.
• Intervention: Deliver remote occupational therapy including exercises, activities, and interventions to meet patient goals.
• Education: Guide patients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and well-being.
• Documentation: Keep precise records including progress notes, treatment plans, and documentation requirements.
• Compliance: Follow all ethical, legal, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Technology: Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote sessions.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with latest occupational therapy advancements and engage in professional growth.

Qualifications 🎓

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active CA State Occupational Therapy License or the ability to apply
• Experience in clinical, school settings, or successful clinical interview
• Technical proficiency with our all-in-one teletherapy platform
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months and up)
• Feeding and/or Hand Therapy experience (preferred but not required)
• Bilingual in Spanish is required

Compensation & Benefits 💰

1099 Contract

• Bilingual: $60.00 per 60-minute evaluation, $30.00 per 30-minute therapy session

W-2 Employee

• Bilingual: $48.00 - $56.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Additional: Licensure reimbursement after 145 hours of work
