  • Applicants must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Active and unencumbered registered nursing license with at least two years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Primary RN license must be a compact license; nurse must reside in a compact state.
  • Experience in occupational medicine, emergency (ED), or urgent care (UC) is desirable.
  • Mandatory California RN license (must be active or willing to obtain upon hire; company will reimburse costs).
  • Experience in medicine or rehabilitation is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask (type, talk, read simultaneously).
  • Proficient in computer operations, including Windows OS, data entry, and 10-key capabilities.
  • Typing speed of at least 30-40 WPM.
  • Excellent oral communication and telephone skills.
  • Knowledge of state laws and guidelines.
  • Effective interdepartmental communication (regular liaising with intake team).

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with medical providers, claims adjusters, and clients.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to facilitate early injury intervention and determine if injuries require medical case management or self-care advice.
  • Direct care recommendations to network providers as appropriate.
  • Follow up on injury status to ensure appropriate levels of care are provided.
  • Accurately document all assessments and interactions using standard documentation formats.
  • Adhere to all standards, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain nurse licensure in good standing.
  • Achieve and sustain an overall QA score of 95%.
  • Participate in departmental projects and meetings, with a minimum of 80% attendance.
  • Follow active Stratacare policies and procedures.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality.
