Provider Duties 🩺
- Primary Care Provider: Serve as the main healthcare provider for long- and short-term residents by assessing health status through visits, physical exams, and reviewing medical histories.
- Team-Based Care: Collaborate with attending physicians and nursing home staff to deliver the highest possible standard of care.
- Resident & Family Engagement: Build relationships, educate, and develop evidence-based care plans tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.
- Legal & Professional Compliance: Stay informed on legislation, enforce adherence to regulations, and advise management on necessary actions.
- Continuous Learning: Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in societies to maintain technical knowledge.
- Safety & Environment: Ensure a clean, safe workspace by complying with policies and reflecting the organization’s core values—respectfulness, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
- Documentation & Care Administration: Review and ensure timely, accurate charting, documentation, and administration of care.
Requirements ✅
- Expertise in Health Promotion & Maintenance, Thoroughness, Clinical Skills, Informativeness, Medical Teamwork, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management, and Self-Development
- Must be Board Certified
- Hospital setting experience is considered a plus
