Seeking a dedicated NP/PA Clinician for a primary care outpatient setting that offers a fast-paced, community-focused environment with a diverse patient population. 🌟

Position Details

• Clinician Type: NP/PA
• Unit/Department: Family Practice / Primary Care
• Unit Details: Outpatient | All Ages | No Call

Work Environment & Patient Volume

• Daily Patient Volume: Averaging 22-24 patients in an 8-hour shift; 25-27 in a 9-hour shift
• Support Staff: MD, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and Medical Assistants (MAs)
• EMR System: eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Licensing & Certification

• Licenses & Certs: Active California license, DEA certification
• Board Certification: Yes, BC/BE required

Compensation & Scheduling

• Credentialing Timeframe: Quick; can start within 4 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 3-4 months with potential for extension
• Shift Options: Full-time, 5 days/week (8-hour shifts) or 4 days/week (9-hour shifts); current operation hours exclude Saturdays, but flexibility exists based on organizational needs

• Notes: Provide comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated family medicine services within a Patient-Centered Health Home model, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. Working in a community setting with a primarily Spanish-speaking patient population, supported by Medical Assistants.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Comfortable managing both chronic and acute conditions
• Ability to perform office-based procedures (minimal)

Preferred Experience

• Spanish-speaking proficiency
