📝 Job Overview

As an interpreter, your primary responsibility is to facilitate clear communication between parties who speak different languages. For example, in a live 911 call, you will accurately interpret conversations between the caller (native language) and the emergency operator (English). Your goal is to convey messages effectively in the preferred language of the caller and ensure mutual understanding.

• Handle calls involving simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects across various sectors:

📅 Employment Details

Period of Employment: 12 months contract with options to renew

🕑 Working Hours

Work 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break, totaling 40 hours per week. Work schedule varies, including night shifts, starting at:

• 8 PM / 9 PM / 10 PM / 11 PM / 12 AM
• Shifts rotate every 3 months

💰 Salary & Benefits

The position offers a competitive hourly rate:

• RM30/hour (Minimum RM30 x 160 hours = RM4,800)
