Job Overview

As a Mobile Expert, you'll be the go-to person for customers and contribute to a vibrant retail environment by showcasing your tech expertise and delivering top-notch customer experiences.

Key Duties

  • Engage with Customers: Understand their needs and recommend suitable mobile products and accessories.
  • Conduct Product Demos: Showcase features and benefits of various mobile devices, ensuring customers are well-informed.
  • Assist with Merchandising: Stock and organize mobile devices, accessories, and related products on the sales floor.
  • Handle Transactions: Process payments accurately at the cash register, including cashiering and cash handling.
  • Provide Phone Support: Maintain excellent etiquette when answering inquiries and assisting over the phone.
  • Support Sales Efforts: Promote product features and special offers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Train and Supervise: Help onboard new team members with POS systems, customer service protocols, and product knowledge.

Requirements & Skills

  • Retail Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, ideally within grocery stores or electronics sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math.
  • Leadership Ability: Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in retail environments.
  • Merchandising & Inventory: Capable of efficient stocking, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Professional phone etiquette and excellent service skills.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of mobile devices, accessories, and effective sales techniques such as upselling.
  • Math Skills: Basic arithmetic for transactions and stock management.
