Job Overview
As a Mobile Associate (MA), you'll be a vital part of our Retail Team of Experts, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life. You’ll serve as a brand ambassador, energizing customers about our products and services in a fast-paced environment filled with innovation and connection. Your role involves building meaningful relationships with customers, educating them on device solutions, and continuously developing your skills for growth into a Mobile Expert position.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Assist customers online, over the phone, and in-store, providing a seamless shopping experience. Explore their needs and demonstrate the latest technology with hands-on demos.
- Solution Selling: Find personalized solutions for customers beyond basic devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
- Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively to showcase T-Mobile’s network coverage, unlimited plans, and services, ensuring customers understand the value we offer.
- Training & Learning: Complete required training on our in-store experience, systems, and new skills, actively seeking knowledge between customer interactions.
- Relationship Building: Partner with colleagues across channels to coordinate the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Education & Experience
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred: 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in retail
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun! 🎉
- Competitive drive with success in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders.
- Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.

Compensation & Incentives
Starting pay is $19.50/hour, plus an additional $5.00/hour during training. After completing training, you’ll have the opportunity to advance to a Mobile Expert role with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year, based on performance.
All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Additionally, every team member is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant to help you invest in your future!
