Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are vital members of our Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within partner locations. As ambassadors, they create energy and excitement around our products and services, thriving in high-traffic environments with an obsession for connected technology and customer experience.

Their goal is to build and deepen customer relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates, exceeding performance targets by providing exceptional service and doing it the right way, help us stay unstoppable! 🌟

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Proactively connect with a diverse customer base in a busy retail environment, effectively communicating and showcasing T-Mobile solutions using digital tools.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage self-serve tools and identify customer needs to recommend wireless solutions, emphasizing self-service options and mobile app usage for a seamless experience.
  • Training & Knowledge: Complete ongoing training on products, systems, and store processes. Review personal results and promotions regularly to stay customer-ready. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding and support store operations, including securing kiosk assets.
  • Customer-Centric Service: Be passionate, friendly, and engaging. Connect on a personal level, build rapport, and exceed customer expectations by maintaining active follow-up, capturing referrals, and managing sales processes. Perform price overrides when necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Collaborate with leadership and teams to support customers from account setup to device support and account management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months in customer service or sales; retail experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate who enjoys connecting with customers and balancing their experience with performance goals. 😊
  • Team Building: Willingness to learn, share best practices, and serve as a valuable team member alongside store leaders and peers.
  • Retail Sales: Confidence and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Incentives

Starting hourly pay is $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay per hour. During the first 90 days, receive on-the-job training and eligible for hourly training pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, target incentives amount to $18,000/year, with actual earnings based on performance and full-time status. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. 💰

As owners, every employee is also eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
