Job Overview

As a Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store, you play a vital role in bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. You are the ambassador, creating energy and excitement around our innovative products and services. Passionate about the connected world, you thrive in busy environments, building meaningful relationships with customers through education, demonstrations, and tailored solutions. Your goal is to surpass performance targets by providing exceptional service and meeting quality standards. 🎯

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with customers in high-traffic retail settings using digital tools, effectively communicating and educating about T-Mobile solutions.
  • Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identifying needs, and demonstrating product value through solution-based selling techniques.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, products, systems, and processes, ensuring you are always customer-ready. Collaborate with nearby stores for onboarding and share best practices.
  • Be customer-obsessed: Connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Drive sales by following up, capturing referrals, and managing customer processes like Be Back and price overrides.
  • Support the team by building relationships with leadership and peers to enhance the overall customer experience from account setup to device support.

Education & Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate with a fun, friendly demeanor and a desire to connect authentically.
  • Team Building: Willingness to collaborate, learn, and share best practices with peers and leaders.
  • Retail Sales: Driven, confident, and competitive in fast-paced sales environments.

Compensation & Incentives 💰

The starting hourly pay is $19.50 with an additional $5.00 per hour during training. During the first 90 days, employees receive on-the-job training and hourly pay during this period. Afterward, you advance to the Mobile Expert role with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year, which varies based on performance and full-time status.

All employees are guaranteed a minimum earning of $20/hour, inclusive of base salary and incentives. Plus, everyone is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant — because at T-Mobile, we’re all owners! 📈
