Job Description

Responsible for providing upgrades and implementing new system technologies as needed. Develop, maintain, support, and design servers within the organization. Prepare for disaster recovery, ensure high availability, and continually enhance operational processes. May supervise computer administrators and user support specialists.

Responsibilities:

• 🖥️ Maintain Linux Platforms (Red Hat and Oracle Linux)
• 🔧 Manage Linux patching, upgrades, migrations, virtualization, and Tier 3 support
• 📊 Monitor, maintain, configure, and upgrade MIS, MOS, and NES systems, including development in datacenters and FAB/CUB
• 📝 Handle project management, planning, disaster recovery, new system designs, and implementations

Qualifications

• 🛠️ Extensive hands-on experience with Linux Distribution Platforms (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Rocky Linux, etc.)
• 🚢 Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
• 🖥️ Proven virtualization experience (VMware VCF preferred)
• 💾 Storage solutions familiarity with NetApp, EMC products, including volume management (LUN management, provisioning iSCSI and FC LUN, disk pool, and staging)
• 🔌 Ability to architect deployment of Linux open source applications
• 🔍 Troubleshooting Linux systems and log analysis
• 💻 Heavy experience with scripting languages: Bash, Korn Shell, Perl, Python
• 🎓 College degree preferred or equivalent experience and certifications
• 🖥️ Maintenance of MIS, MOS, and NES servers and application servers
• 📡 Monitoring system activities and asset management
• ⏱️ Support available 24/7/365 for FAB production lines and facility systems

Required Degree:

Associate Degree or higher

Required Experience:

5+ years as a Linux Systems Engineer

Bilingual (Korean) Skills:

Preferred but not mandatory
