Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client's unique needs, promoting healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive safety, crisis, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability and empowerment.
- Participate actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance overall client care.
- Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms in a timely manner, maintaining professional standards.
- Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to provide holistic mental health services.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related fields
- Provisional license as per state regulation (if required)
- Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing
- Passion for mental health and providing high-quality care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong ethical standards with excellent confidentiality
- Exceptional communication skills and rapport-building abilities
- Effective time management to handle documentation and administrative tasks efficiently

Compensation & Equity
Columbia Mental Health offers a base compensation range of $47 – $55 per billable unit. Actual pay depends on licensure, experience, and other factors. We are committed to fair, equitable pay practices, and our compensation ranges are regularly reviewed to stay competitive.
