Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-English Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LGPC, LMSW) to become a vital part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you'll provide personalized psychotherapy and comprehensive mental health services, primarily focusing on Spanish-speaking clients who may encounter language and cultural barriers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments using DSM-5-TR criteria. Develop collaborative, person-centered treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver individual, family, and group therapy tailored to each patient’s needs, utilizing trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
- Clinical Conditions: Address a range of conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma/stressor-related disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring conditions with culturally sensitive strategies.
- Risk & Crisis Management: Perform ongoing risk assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, and coordinate care with emergency or higher-level services when necessary.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate clinical records, track progress, and modify interventions based on response and best-practice guidelines. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, primary care providers, and other professionals for integrated care.
- Skills & Modalities: Apply therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and other evidence-based techniques. Provide psychoeducation, support adherence to treatment plans, and connect patients to community resources.

Qualifications & Benefits
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related discipline. Active or eligible DC licensure as an LCPC, LGPC, or LMSW (or equivalent). Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Preferred Experience: Previous work in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings is highly desirable.
