We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to provide exceptional technical support for our medical equipment, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • System Delivery & Installation: Coordinate and execute the delivery, setup, and technical service activities for medical devices both in the field and at our Service Centers.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, part replacements, software updates, and recall executions following established procedures and schedules.
  • Troubleshooting & Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical issues identified during customer support or operational activities.
  • Onsite Support: Provide on-location technical assistance during customer cases, including support in clinical and operating room environments as needed.
  • Event Support: Assist with equipment setup and operation for exhibitions, trade shows, and customer demonstrations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Specialists to support field execution and facilitate knowledge transfer during transitions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain the inventory of equipment, instruments, and parts at the U.S. Service Center to ensure readiness and functionality.
  • Global Communication: Coordinate with international teams, including colleagues in Korea, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Compliance & Certifications: Follow hospital protocols, maintain HIPAA compliance, and obtain necessary hospital credentials, training, vaccinations, and documentation.
  • Operational Support: Contribute to stable customer operations and service readiness amid ongoing expansion of the installed base and commercialization activities.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Korean.
  • Experience: Entry-level position; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. Background in technical service, engineering, or field support is advantageous.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in medical devices, capital equipment support, or complex systems technical service is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to solve complex and unfamiliar technical problems using sound knowledge.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong abilities to communicate effectively and work well with others.
  • Multitasking & Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively within multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Lifting & Physical Ability: Ability to safely move and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
