Join Us in Making Healthcare More Compassionate, Connected, and Convenient ❤️

At CVS Health®, we are dedicated to creating a healthier world around every individual by fostering a more connected, compassionate, and accessible health experience. Be part of a passionate team committed to innovation, safety, quality, and service — helping to simplify healthcare for communities, families, and individuals alike.

Position: Medical Scribe - Bilingual Spanish Preferred

Company: Oak Street Health

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Role Overview 📋

The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS), also known as a Medical Scribe, supports primary care providers with meticulous clinical documentation, enabling providers to focus entirely on delivering exceptional patient care. Scribes participate actively in every stage of the patient care journey — from morning huddles and in-room observations to post-visit follow-ups.

Beyond basic documentation, these vital team members act as clinical documentation assistants, called CISs internally, ensuring accurate, precise, and timely records. They develop expertise in our value-based care model, chronic condition management, ICD-10, and CPT coding, helping providers identify and address care gaps effectively. Extensive on-the-job training prepares them in clinical workflows, preventative care, population health, and team-based care.

Ideal candidates are committed to a 1-2 year tenure, making this an excellent stepping stone for pre-med, health informatics, public health, healthcare administration, medical coding, or related career aspirations.
