We are currently seeking a professional, energetic Medical Scribe to join our clinical team in Plano.

Job Summary

The Medical Scribe acts as an extension of the physician, performing all clinical documentation in real-time within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). By managing clerical duties during patient encounters, you enable providers to focus on delivering quality patient care and making clinical decisions. 📝👩‍⚕️

Key Responsibilities

• Real-Time Documentation: Accompany the provider during patient exams to document the History of Present Illness (HPI), Review of Systems (ROS), Physical Exam findings, and the Assessment/Plan.
• EHR Management: Navigate and update patient charts within eClinicalWorks (eCW), ensuring all lab results, imaging, and consult notes are accurately documented and easily accessible.
• Specialty Support: Assist in documenting OB-specific data such as prenatal flowsheet updates, ultrasound findings, and gynecological procedure notes.
• Bilingual Assistance: Provide interpretation between Spanish and English to facilitate clear communication between providers and patients regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Efficiency Management: Prepare daily charts in advance and ensure all pending items from previous visits are updated for provider review.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience as a Medical Scribe.
• Software Proficiency: Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.
• Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Arabic, with the ability to translate medical terminology accurately in both languages.
• Skills: Fast and precise typing (minimum 60 WPM) along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and human anatomy.
• Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and maturity when handling sensitive women's health issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically within an OB-GYN or Women’s Health clinical setting.
• Interest in pursuing a future career in healthcare (Pre-Med, Pre-PA, Nursing).
