CVS Health Is Hiring A Medical Scribe Bilingual

Join Us in Making Healthcare More Compassionate and Connected 🌟

At CVS Health®, we are passionate about building a world of health that is personalized, accessible, and compassionate for every individual. Become part of a dedicated team that cares deeply, innovates purposefully, and prioritizes safety and quality to simplify healthcare—one person, one family, and one community at a time.

Position: Medical Scribe

Company: Oak Street Health

Role Overview

The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS), also known as a Medical Scribe, supports primary care providers by managing clinical documentation, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional care. Scribes are integral throughout the patient care process—participating in team huddles, observing and documenting patient visits, and assisting with follow-up steps.

Beyond basic documentation, these team members serve as clinical documentation assistants, ensuring accurate and timely health records. Internally called CISs, they become experts in our value-based care model and chronic condition management, including ICD-10 and CPT coding. They leverage this expertise to help identify and close care gaps, receive extensive training in clinical workflows, preventative care, population health data, and team-based care.

This role requires a 1-2 year commitment, making it an excellent opportunity for pre-med students, those interested in health informatics, public health, healthcare administration, medical coding, and related fields.
