Care Facilitator / Medical Receptionist (Bilingual: English/Vietnamese)

Please note: This role requires candidates to be bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with fluency in both written and verbal communication.

Role Overview

The Medical Receptionist or Care Facilitator is often the first point of contact for our patients. You will serve as a patient advocate, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping to build trusting relationships. Your responsibilities include check-in/out procedures, administrative support, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Patient Interaction: Greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, and conduct lobby checks for organization and cleanliness.
• Schedule Management: Manage schedules for PCPs and specialists, ensuring top 40 patients are scheduled every 13 days.
• System Utilization: Use computer systems to update patient information, print forms, respond to emails, and prepare new patient packets.
• Patient Engagement: Make "love" calls, send birthday cards, and acknowledge special events to strengthen relationships.
• Communication & Coordination: Answer phones, relay messages, and provide clear information about clinical personnel.
• Insurance & Payments: Verify insurance, collect copays, and assist with follow-up scheduling or referrals.
• Patient Comfort: Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Quality & Reporting: Act as HEDIS champion, monitor hospitalizations, and report on relevant metrics.
• Customer Service: Present satisfaction surveys, escalate concerns, and participate in team huddles.
• Transportation Coordination: Manage driver lists, medication and grocery deliveries, and coordinate Uber/Lyft rides for patients.

Additional Responsibilities: Maintain confidentiality, review patient information, transmit correspondence, and perform any other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel up to 10% regionally

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required 🎓
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers preferred

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $14.30 - $20.42 per hour. Final salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
