ChenMed Is Hiring A Medical Receptionist Bilingual

Position: Medical Receptionist (Care Facilitator)
As a Care Facilitator at ChenMed, you will serve as a vital patient advocate, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting seamless clinic operations. If you are passionate about making a difference and possess a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities 🩺
- Patient Interaction: Greet, check-in, check-out, and schedule appointments, ensuring lobby organization and cleanliness.
- Schedule Management: Serve as gatekeeper for PCP and Specialist schedules, ensuring timely appointments for top patients.
- Administrative Support: Use computer systems to add patient data, print forms, respond to emails, and prepare new patient packets.
- Patient Engagement: Make “love” calls, send birthday and greeting cards to celebrate milestones.
- Communication: Answer phones, take detailed messages, and relay information clearly about clinical personnel.
- Insurance & Payments: Verify insurance, collect copays, and assist with follow-up or referral scheduling.
- Patient Comfort & Support: Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure their well-being during visits.
- HEDIS & Reporting: Monitor HEDIS needs, report hospitalizations, and provide data on patient outcomes.
- Customer Service: Present surveys at check-out and escalate issues when necessary to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles and provide updates on patient care.
- Transportation Coordination: Manage patient transportation logistics, including Uber/Lyft rides and medication deliveries.
Additional Responsibilities 🚀
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and personal information.
- Review and verify patient data for accuracy and completeness.
- Transmit correspondence via mail, email, or fax.
- Perform other duties as assigned or modified by management.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ⭐
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Working knowledge of medical insurance and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Familiarity with ChenMed products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating phones, computers, and basic IT software.
- Professional and courteous communication with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to travel regionally (up to 10%).
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
Education & Experience Requirements 🎓
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical clinic or similar environment.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits 💰
The pay range for this position is $14.30 - $20.42 per hour. Final compensation will depend on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. Additional bonuses or commissions may be available.
