Schedule & Locations

  • Monday & Wednesday: CVR Germantown
  • Thursday & Friday: CVR Greenbelt
  • Hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally during check-in and check-out
  • Distribute, explain, and ensure understanding of all CVR policies and procedures for staff
  • Maintain compliance by keeping patient charts up-to-date, HIPAA compliant, and accurately inputting demographics, procedures, and payments in NextGen
  • Review scheduling, financial responsibilities, and referrals with patients throughout their care
  • Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department for prior authorizations
  • Complete daily closing tasks, including fee tickets, billing, and operative notes
  • Verify all patients are preauthorized for treatments by reviewing upcoming schedules
  • Obtain and update new patient forms within NextGen/EHR, ensuring records are current
  • Gather necessary paperwork such as authorizations and referrals
  • Collect copays and patient balances at the time of service
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; gather and document email addresses

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Reliable transportation to clinics not always accessible by public transit
  • Willingness to travel between CVR Germantown & CVR Greenbelt
  • Spanish fluency is required
