Position: Labs and Clearance Coordinator

The Labs and Clearance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring patients are cleared for surgery through a standardized process to guarantee their safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🤝 Assists patients in evaluating the most appropriate surgical procedures based on their needs
• 📝 Reviews patients’ medical and health histories to determine necessary pre-admission testing
• 📅 Schedules medical and cardiac clearances and follow-up appointments
• 🔗 Coordinates with clinical staff to gather necessary patient information
• 💻 Codes information from physicians regarding performed procedures
• ✅ Assesses if further testing or additional clearances are required
• 🎯 Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation, both internally and externally
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• High School Degree minimum
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
