The Medical Assistant is a dependable, adaptable member of our patient care team who provides vital administrative and clinical support. You will help ensure smooth clinic operations while delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. 🔹 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify TOI core values, providing outstanding customer service.
• Participate actively in company initiatives and team activities.
• Document in electronic medical record (EMR) system(s).
• Request external medical records and prepare patient charts prior to appointments.
• Perform and document patient vital signs.
• Complete review of systems and intake documentation.
• Prepare patients for physician care.
• Administer basic first aid.
• Perform venipunctures and non-intravenous injections.
• Conduct basic laboratory procedures.
• Observe and report patients’ signs or symptoms.
• Serve as a chaperone during patient examinations as needed.
• Assist with patient examinations, procedures, or treatments.
• Administer certain medications as directed by the physician.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

🎓 Required Experience, Education & Training

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma program from an accredited institution; Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a related outpatient role.
