Position Summary 📝
As a Medical Assistant, you will balance patient needs with efficient office workflow and support physicians in all aspects of medical procedures—before, during, and after. Your role is vital in ensuring an excellent service experience for every patient.
Position Details 📍
- Location: Lower Manhattan clinics (Chelsea, Lenox Hill, 1st Ave, Harlem, and Fulton St.)
- Must be a Registered / Certified Medical Assistant
- Work hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, including weekends as needed
- Languages: Fluent in English and Mandarin required
- Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour 💵
Responsibilities 🛠️
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms; assist with form completion
- Use clinic computer hardware and software per company policies
- Schedule appointments and handle patient needs like transportation or rescheduling
- Perform clerical tasks: copying, filing, faxing, etc.
- Ensure patient needs are met and all questions answered
- Maintain tidy and ready procedure rooms
- Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures following instructions and preferences
- Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterward
- Provide post-procedure instructions and medication guidance
- Monitor and replenish supply levels
- Apply sterile techniques and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Prepare IV solutions
- Train new staff members as needed
- Assist ultrasound staff when necessary
- Transport supplies and equipment as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements ✅
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- Availability to work on weekends (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
