Join Our Team as a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual: English/Spanish) at Plaza del Sol Family Health Center 🎉

We are looking for dedicated Medical Assistants to support our diverse healthcare teams and provide exceptional patient care at Plaza del Sol Family Health Center (PDS).

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant at PDS, you will assist providers across internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and other support services, ensuring smooth clinical operations and positive patient experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, along with an Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program
• 0-1 year of prior healthcare experience
• Bilingual: English and Spanish is mandatory
• Flexible work schedule
• Proficiency with computers and healthcare software (experience with electronic health records is a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, support a team, and work independently
• Demonstrates kindness, compassion, and patient-focused attitude

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, maintain inventory, and sterilize instruments
• Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories; accurately record in medical records
• Assist providers during exams and treatments
• Maintain clinical logs including glucometers and room logs
• Perform CLIA Waived tests, EKGs, and Nitric Oxide tests
• Register patients and verify demographics
• Schedule appointments and recall patients for necessary services

Starting Compensation 💰

Minimum: $47,840 annually / $23.00 hourly

Maximum: $47,840 annually / $23.00 hourly

Work Environment & Schedule 🕒

The schedule consists of 40 hours per week, spanning 5 days. Candidates must be available to work shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Saturdays are rotated, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and a day off during the week.
