Job Summary:
Deliver high-quality, professional massage and body treatments to Spa guests, ensuring their relaxation and satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities ๐
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Assist guests with spa tours, escorting them to treatment rooms, and providing general information and directions.
- Administer massage and body treatments according to guest needs.
- Analyze guest needs and customize treatments accordingly.
- Explain services and treatment purposes to guests; suggest home care options.
- Promote additional spa services and retail products.
- Prepare and maintain inventory of massage and body treatment products in line with departmental policies.
- Notify supervisor of equipment issues requiring repair or replacement.
- Sterilize and sanitize all instruments and treatment areas in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintain standard treatment durations; inform Spa desk about any modifications.
- Manage supplies and linens in treatment rooms per policies and standards.
- Ensure a pleasant guest experience through professional communication and behavior.
- Handle inappropriate guest behavior professionally; escalate to supervisor when necessary.
- Use prescription pads to promote and sell spa product lines; meet quarterly sales standards.
- Produce daily reports on treatments performed and retail sales.
- Utilize Spa software as required.
- Check the appointment schedule after each treatment.
- Use precise amounts of professional products; notify supervisor about low inventory.
- Assist with laundry and stock management in treatment areas.
- Help keep all areas tidy by performing tasks like tidying towels, cleaning lounges, and picking up small items.
- Participate in cross-training for housekeeping, locker room, fitness center, retail, and front desk operations.
- Help move laundry between Spa and Laundry departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of personal treatment areas when not servicing guests.
- Support team members as needed.
- Pass all treatment inspections successfully.
- Achieve retail sales goals consistently.
- Attend departmental and Entertainment Enterprise Division (EED) meetings.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry trends and treatments.
- Maintain valid Arizona State licensing and certifications.
- Adapt to a flexible shift schedule; inform supervisor of any changes.
- Follow safety and security policies, reporting incidents immediately.
- Complete safety training and keep certifications up-to-date.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard EED assets.
- Perform any additional tasks delegated by the supervisor.

- Expertise in massage therapies and treatments.
- Understanding of departmental policies, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.
- Attention to detail in service delivery and record-keeping.

- Willingness to learn new techniques and industry trends.
- Capable of working efficiently during busy periods.

- Proficiency in understanding and executing instructions, both verbal and written.
Minimum Qualifications โ
- High school diploma or GED, plus a valid Arizona State license and at least 500 hours of training at an accredited massage therapy school.
- Successful completion of a service performance interview.
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification within three months of employment.
- Proven reliability, responsiveness, and creativity in guest service.
- Availability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Legal employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Ability to acquire and retain a valid non-gaming license.
Preferred Qualifications ๐
- Two years of successful experience in a hotel or resort environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
