Position Overview

• Start Date: Rolling starting from January 2026
• Schedule: This is a flexible 1099 position with Fee-for-Service (FFS) compensation
• Therapy Hours: 8am to 3am ET, seven days a week
• Commitment: Minimum 8 hours per week; flexibility based on student volumes. Summer hours available but not required.

Who We're Looking For 🎯

• Qualifications: Independently licensed Mandarin-speaking therapists licensed in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC). Multi-state licensure is an advantage.
• Location: Fully remote within the US.
• Background: Diverse applicants committed to accessible and affordable mental health care.

Work Schedule & Compensation 💼

Availability: At least 8 hours per week during the academic year, with flexibility based on student needs.

Pay Rate:

• $95 per 60-minute intake session
• $80 per 45-minute follow-up session
• $30 for no-show appointments
• $60/hour for monthly training and team meetings

Key Responsibilities as a Mantra Licensed Therapist 📝

• Deliver evidence-based virtual therapies such as CBT, MI, ACT, DBT, and more.
• Utilize our advanced collaboration portal to connect with students.
• Coordinate with campus providers, supervisors, and peers for cohesive care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Partner with administrative teams to support student outreach and resource sharing.
• Participate actively during critical patient scenarios alongside leadership.
• Continuously develop expertise in our care model and enhance therapeutic skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile 🧑‍💻

• Active clinical licensure in California and multi-state licensure is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (with support from Mantra).
• Proficient in conducting thorough biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostics.
• Skilled in managing diverse student populations with respect and cultural sensitivity.
• Adequate technology: a reliable computer/laptop, quality webcam, and stable internet for secure virtual sessions.
