We are excited to offer an opportunity for skilled interpreters to facilitate vital communication across multiple languages from the comfort of their homes.

Position Details

• Employment Period: 12 months contract, renewable
• Working Hours: 8 hours daily with a 1-hour break, totaling 40 hours per week, including night shifts
• Work Schedule: Shifts start anytime from 8 PM to 12 AM, rotating every 3 months

Compensation & Benefits 💰

• Salary: RM30/hour (minimum RM4,800/month based on 160 hours) + Socso + EPF + OT pay
• Benefits:
  • 14 days paid sick leave
  • 12 days annual leave
  • Public holidays in Malaysia & the US
• Training: 3-week daytime training (Monday-Friday) with a training allowance

Role Overview

Your main responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communication between parties speaking different languages
• Accurately interpreting live calls, such as emergency 911 calls, between callers (native language) and English-speaking operators
• Ensuring clear understanding and message conveyance in preferred languages
• Working remotely from a home office with a quiet and secure environment

This position is open to candidates located within Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, or Cambodia, handling diverse calls across sectors such as Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, and Business.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing) and native language (reading, speaking, writing)
• Work Environment: Must work from home
• Device: Own a mobile phone with Android 12+ or iOS 15+
• Availability: Willing to work rotating night shifts within a 24-hour window, 9 hours per shift
• Days Off: Entitled to 2 rotating days off per week
• Holidays: Must be available to work on public holidays due to 24/7 operations
