Join our team as a Mandarin Interpreter (English & Mandarin) and help facilitate seamless communication across languages in a remote work setting with flexible night shifts.

Position Overview

Based in Malaysia, this 12-month contract (renewable) role offers the opportunity to work from home, supporting live interpretations in various sectors including customer service, healthcare, government, travel, and emergency responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin during live phone conversations.
• Cover diverse call types such as:
  • Customer service
  • Healthcare & insurance
  • Government & utilities
  • Travel-related inquiries
  • Emergency services (including 911 calls)

Work Environment & Requirements

This is a fully remote role that requires a quiet and secure workspace at home to ensure clear communication during calls.

Working Hours & Schedule

• 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break
• 40 hours per week
• Night shift with start times varying between 8 PM and 12 AM
• Shift rotation every 3 months to maintain work variety
• Two rotating days off each week
• Availability to work on public holidays, as the operation runs 24/7
