Salary Range: $52,642.00 - $68,844.00 per year

Language Requirement: Mandarín (Required)
Commute & Relocation: Must be able to commute to Stirling, NJ, and relocate before starting work
Major Responsibilities 🚸
- Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations.
- Design a curriculum that addresses the diverse linguistic, cultural, and academic backgrounds of students, including differentiated instruction.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and suits students' maturity and interests.
- Encourage students to set and uphold classroom behavior standards.
- Guide the learning process to meet curriculum goals by establishing clear objectives for lessons and projects and communicating these to students.
- Employ various instructional strategies, including immersion techniques and media, tailored to students' needs and classroom limitations.
- Implement HWIS’s educational philosophy and instructional goals through your teaching and actions.
- Regularly assess students’ progress, including linguistic benchmarks, and provide progress reports as needed.
- Ensure the safety of students, equipment, and facilities by taking necessary precautions.
Additional Responsibilities 📚
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with laws and school policies.
- Support the administration in enforcing policies governing student conduct.
- Be available to students and parents for educational discussions.
- Continuously enhance professional competence through development activities.
- Attend staff meetings, curriculum development sessions, and serve on committees, encouraging colleagues’ professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills 🎓
- Highly proficient in Mandarin.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in early childhood or elementary education.
- Teacher certification preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer skills, internet, MS Office, and classroom technology.
Note: No relocation assistance available. Candidates must be local to Stirling, NJ.
