Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin
• Minimum of 6 months interpretation experience (preferred)
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Capability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with client permission or at their request

Technical Requirements

• 90% proficiency in English
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Compatible with Windows 10 or Mac systems
