We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated educators to inspire young minds this summer—come make a difference as a Mandarin Chinese Teacher or an Art Teacher for students in grades 1–8.

Position Details

• Schedule: July 13 – August 21 | Monday – Friday | 1:30PM to 5PM
• Location: In person
• Employment Type: Part-time
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shared Responsibilities 🤝

• Implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to promote student success and address any challenges that arise

Mandarin Chinese Teacher — What We're Looking For 🀄️

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking) with experience teaching elementary and/or intermediate students
• Currently pursuing or have obtained a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs
• Passion for education and fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Art Teacher — What We're Looking For 🎨

• Experience teaching art (drawing, painting, sketching) to elementary-age students (grades 1–8)
• Currently pursuing or have obtained a bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Studio Art, or a related field
• Ability to plan age-appropriate, hands-on art projects that spark creativity and self-expression
• Strong classroom management skills with patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners
• Familiarity with a range of media and techniques suitable for elementary students
