The Role: Managing Partner (Proprietor) 🏢

As a Managing Partner, you will be a hands-on leader with expertise across all restaurant operations, from front of house to back of house, including managing P&L centers. You'll spend most of your time actively engaging with staff and guests to ensure excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Hire, develop, counsel, promote, discipline, and terminate employees as needed to uphold Carrabba’s standards.
• Documentation & Staffing: Maintain employee records, guarantee the restaurant is fully staffed, and train employees thoroughly.
• Security & Safety: Implement protocols to safeguard employees and guests.
• Customer Service: Resolve complaints, turning dissatisfied guests into loyal patrons.
• Sales Growth: Drive initiatives to boost sales, profitability, and guest counts.
• Food Quality & Presentation: Ensure menu items meet recipe and presentation standards.
• Operational Standards: Follow service levels, control costs, and maintain inventory levels.
• Financial Management: Oversee restaurant P&L.
• Compliance: Enforce safety, sanitation, maintenance, and regulatory standards.
• Admin & Community Involvement: Manage administrative functions and lead community engagement efforts.
• Ethics & Values: Demonstrate high integrity aligned with company principles.

Qualifications & Attributes

• 3-5+ years in a managerial role; General Manager experience preferred.
• Experience in casual dining settings.
• Exceptional guest service skills, including handling complaints professionally.
• Proven team recruitment, training, and motivation abilities.
• Hands-on experience in all restaurant facets.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and minimum age of 21.
• Ability to obtain a state liquor license.
• Willingness to work in both front and back of house.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office & Outlook) a plus.
• Bilingual skills and relocation willingness are advantageous.
• Experience in a scratch kitchen environment is a major plus.
