Your Role: Manager, Program Management
As a key leader, you will drive the planning, development, and execution of strategic priorities and operational initiatives across the Latin America and Caribbean markets. You will support international store partners by creating sustainable systems, programs, and tools that enable consistent delivery of the Starbucks Experience, always guided by our core principles. ✨
Key Responsibilities
- International Portfolio Support: Advocate for the needs of international stores by understanding and integrating market operations priorities into project work.
- Operations Support: Provide direct support to strategic markets, ensuring global programs meet local consumer and regulatory needs.
- Testing & Implementation: Manage testing, rollout, and execution of product, program, and system initiatives across multiple work streams.
- Implementation Leadership: Lead regional implementation plans, supporting execution and monitoring results.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee functions related to operational systems, standards, and performance measures to meet strategic goals.
- Global Standards & Systems: Define and maintain store-level operating standards, retail systems, and supporting tools.
- Collaboration with IRO: Work closely with International Retail Operations to adapt and implement global initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations, assessing impacts at all levels for successful execution.
- Project Management: Monitor project schedules, progress, and costs to ensure timely and within-budget results.
- Market Entry & Integration: Support new international market openings and integrations, fostering cultural and operational activities.
- Business Results & Growth: Identify cost management opportunities and initiatives to drive top-line growth.
- Partner Development: Build global partner capabilities through coaching and leadership, aiming for partner, customer, and business success.
Who We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of multi-unit management experience or equivalent.
- Experience managing **large-scale and complex projects**, ideally across multiple markets.
- Familiarity with different ownership models, including joint ventures and licensing.
- Proven project management skills covering scope, time, cost, risk, quality, and more.
- Experience collaborating across departments to develop effective business solutions.
- Portuguese language skills are a plus! 🗣️
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Spanish and English (fully bilingual). 🗨️✨
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities.
- Strategic thinking with critical problem-solving skills.
- Competence in negotiating and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams). (Desired skills in Project and Copilot.)
- Skills in change management and program execution.
- Understanding of business processes and systems relevant to our functional areas.
Location & Workplace
This role is based at the Coral Gables Regional Office. In-office presence is expected Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. 🏢💻
