📌 Role Summary

The Manager of Commercial Strategy plays a pivotal role in supporting sales growth in the U.S. through strategic planning, goal management, and driving business operations with PV modules, BESS, and EPC services. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy, this hybrid role is based in Houston, TX, with travel up to 30% as needed.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Applicants must be authorized to work freely in the U.S. — we do not sponsor visas at this time.

🛠️ Essential Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Monitor sales pipeline aligned with resource availability to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Deal Facilitation: Support and facilitate contract negotiations, inter-departmental alignment, and management approvals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze trends, customer insights, and sales data to refine strategy.
  • Communication: Coordinate with headquarters, global sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Strategic Support: Prepare for Monthly Business Reviews, Executive meetings, and high-level client engagements.
  • Long-term Planning: Contribute to market expansion and area development strategies.
  • Others: Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
  • Attendance: Consistent attendance per company policy is essential.

🎯 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience with strong analytical skills; consulting or corporate strategy background preferred
  • Experience in the energy sector, especially renewable energy, is highly desirable
  • Bilingual in English and Korean
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with data visualization skills a plus
  • Business or financial management experience preferred
  • Sound business judgment and impact assessment skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines and present insights to leadership

  • Remains stationary up to 90%, with sitting up to 8 hours daily

Work Environment

  • Primarily office setting with low to moderate noise levels
