Position: Manager, Global Career Development
Overview
The Manager, Global Career Development collaborates with various university offices and stakeholders to strategicize and oversee global career initiatives across NYU. This position supports students seeking internships and jobs abroad, working closely with faculty, global site staff, and university leaders to develop tools, resources, staff training, and programs that enhance global career development opportunities. 🌎
Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Preferred Education
- Master's Degree in Higher Education, International Education, Counseling, or related fields
Required Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in career development, counseling, experiential learning, or program management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience in academic settings with international or global programs, study abroad, or experiential learning initiatives
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills 💬
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including university partners and vendors 🤝
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems
- Strong oral and written presentation skills 🎤
Preferred Skills & Abilities
- Language proficiency in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Arabic, Mandarin, or Czech (optional)
Additional Information
In accordance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this role is USD $70,000 to $90,000. Salary offerings consider the scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, market trends, and organizational factors. This range excludes additional compensation such as bonuses or incentives.
