Join our dynamic team in the logistics industry! We are seeking a skilled professional with strong negotiation skills, international freight knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to enhance our operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Focus & Negotiation 🤝: Demonstrate a strong customer orientation and effective negotiating skills to secure optimal agreements.
  • Import Logistics & Customs Compliance 🌎🛃: Maintain expertise in import operations and ensure adherence to Customs regulations.
  • Operational Planning 📝: Develop and maintain comprehensive operational plans aligned with customer requirements.
  • Pricing & Carrier Coordination 💰🚢✈️🚚: Provide competitive pricing for ocean, air, and trucking freight in collaboration with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • SOP & Work Instructions 📋: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions, ensuring best practices and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance ⚖️: Enforce SOPs to adhere to local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Relationship Management 🤝: Build and nurture relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams; assist in resolving freight issues.
  • Performance Monitoring 📊: Review KPIs and performance metrics regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Company Policies & Procedures 📅: Follow established work hours, policies, and professional conduct guidelines.
  • Reporting & Analysis 📈: Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Additional Duties 🔧: Take on other job-related responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience 🕒: At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics (Ocean/Air carrier).
  • Warehouse Experience 🏢: WMS experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills 💻: Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organization & Multitasking 🎯: Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Language Skills 🗣️: Bilingual in English and Korean.
  • Analytical Skills 🔍: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills 💬: Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Work Under Pressure ⏱️: Able to perform well under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Work Ethic ⚒️: Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • Software Proficiency 📂: Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Education 🎓: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
