We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong customer focus and negotiation prowess to enhance our import logistics operations and ensure seamless customs compliance.

Job Description

  • Customer & Negotiation Skills 💬🤝: Demonstrate a strong customer orientation paired with effective negotiation skills.
  • Experience & Background 📦🌎: Possess a background in import logistics, global import operations, and Customs Compliance.
  • Operational Planning 📝: Develop and maintain comprehensive operational plans aligned with customer requirements.
  • Freight Pricing & Coordination 🚚✈️: Provide pricing for ocean, air, and trucking freight with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • SOP & Best Practices 📋✅: Maintain SOPs and work instructions, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with customer needs and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance 🏛️: Develop and enforce procedures to adhere to local, state, and federal transportation laws.
  • Relationship Management 🤝: Build and nurture relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams; resolve freight issues efficiently.
  • Performance Monitoring 📊: Review KPIs regularly to achieve customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Policies & Procedures 📅: Follow company work hours, policies, and rules that govern professional conduct.
  • Reporting & Miscellaneous Duties 📝: Perform ad-hoc reports and other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience 🕒: Minimum of 3 years in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean/Air Carrier).
  • Warehouse Knowledge 📦: WMS experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills 💻: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail 🎯: Highly organized with multitasking capabilities.
  • Language Skills 🌐: Bilingual in English and Korean.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills 🧠: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills 😊: Effective communicator, able to work well under pressure.
  • Work Ethic & Software Proficiency 💪: Strong work ethic; proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education 🎓: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
