Position Overview 🎯

We are seeking a Local Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations, inventory control, and new product development—particularly for locally sourced and processed food items. This operational-focused role demands close collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and warehouses to ensure accurate purchasing, timely replenishment, and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities 📝

• Handle daily purchasing operations related to food distribution and new product development
• Issue, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) with vendors
• Monitor inventory levels and manage inbound/outbound records for replenishment and availability
• Support development of new products, including locally processed meat and food items
• Prepare documentation for new products, monthly closing reports, and other purchasing-related reports
• Coordinate with warehouse, fulfillment, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Support warehouse fulfillment during busy periods
• Assist in QC food prep, product testing, and sampling as needed
• Maintain precise purchasing records for operational and audit purposes
• Perform other purchasing and operational duties as assigned
• Occasional lifting of 30–50 lbs may be required

Qualifications ✅

• Strong interest in food distribution, purchasing, and product development
• Creative, detail-oriented, and dependable with a strong sense of ownership
• Proficient with Excel, Google Workspace, and internal systems
• Bilingual in English and Korean (required)
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both in an office and warehouse setting
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications 💡 (Optional)

• Experience in food distribution, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations
• Experience working with perishable, refrigerated, or frozen products
• Previous exposure to warehouse or fulfillment operations

Employment Details 📋

• Location: Carson, CA
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)
