The Loan Officer Associate supports Loan Officers while developing their skills to become future Loan Officers. You will engage in online and classroom training, receive operational and hands-on experience by assisting Loan Officers and Division Managers, and grow within our vibrant team. 🌟

Your Responsibilities on the Team

• Learning & Development

  Participate in formal training programs covering various lending aspects, including different loan types, credit assessment, and the loan approval process. Work with managers to learn mortgage rate sheets for accurate pricing and locking of loans. Review reports to understand the mortgage process from application to closing.

• Continuous Education & Licensure

  Complete testing for mortgage and state licenses as required. Stay current on RESPA through ongoing education courses.

• Support & Coordination

  Update loan applications with missing data, maintain notes within the Loan Origination System, and assist with initial file setup when needed.

• Business Development & Customer Relations

  Engage with builders and realtors to foster relationships. Collaborate with Division Managers and Loan Officers on local marketing initiatives.

• Customer-Centric Service

  Ensure borrowers can easily contact us via phone, email, or chat, and receive prompt responses. Act as the primary contact for borrowers, scheduling and conducting meetings to address any follow-up items.

• Collaboration & Flexibility

  Assist processors and closers in obtaining loan documents, support internal teams through various channels, and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed. 🔄

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BA or BS degree preferred
• Mortgage or banking experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills to articulate product features, benefits, and value
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
• Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual in English and Hebrew or Yiddish strongly preferred

Physical & Office/Site Presence Expectations

Regular in-person attendance at company communities or job sites during work hours is essential. You should be able to work beyond eight hours daily in confined spaces like construction trailers, operate a vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, and lift equipment weighing over 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment and finger dexterity for computer use may also be required. 🛠️
