About the Role ✨

We are seeking a Lithuanian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join our long-term team. If you’re passionate about precise language and quality assurance in digital products, this could be your perfect opportunity!

Role Overview 🔍

As a Linguistic Tester, you will bring high-quality Lithuanian content to life, ensuring it sounds natural, accurate, and polished for end users. Your main responsibilities will include reviewing localized content for grammatical correctness, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual appropriateness.

In addition, you will work hands-on with products by executing test cases, identifying localization bugs, reporting issues, and verifying fixes. Occasionally, you'll translate content from English into Lithuanian and explore user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues, contributing to a seamless user experience.

This role is ideal for someone with native-level Lithuanian fluency, strong attention to detail, and an interest in quality assurance within digital platforms. If you're seeking a stable, long-term position where you can leverage your language and technical skills, this is a great fit!

Main Duties 📝

• Write and report relevant bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system.
• Understand and prioritize tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Apply native language skills and cultural awareness of Lithuanian and Lithuania.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication.
• Be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases.
• Discover and report defects (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools.
• Evaluate translations within software, mobile apps, and documentation contexts.
• Become a subject matter expert on Lithuanian linguistic issues; research and resolve linguistic questions.
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, trademarks, and glossaries.
• Troubleshoot basic problems and communicate effectively to escalate testing issues.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, maintaining quality.

Ideal Backgrounds 🎯
