About the Role

Exovera provides vital research, analysis, and operational capabilities to government, defense, and private-sector clients. Our team includes linguist-analysts focused on China, Russia, and Iran, working alongside software engineers to produce innovative insights, data exploitation, and tool development.

Essential Job Duties

  • 🔍 Conduct Russian-language open-source research and analysis using online sources, academic publications, gray literature, and proprietary databases.
  • 📝 Collect data for analysis and craft comprehensive reports.
  • ✍️ Write and edit analytic reports, ranging from short briefs to detailed studies.
  • 🤝 Engage with senior clients to discuss project needs, opportunities, and report briefings.
  • 🎯 Develop subject matter expertise in areas of analytic responsibility, including research focuses and new data sources.
  • 🖥 Collaborate with in-house software developers to identify and enhance collection and processing of Russian language documents and structured data.

Qualifications

  • Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
  • Demonstrated expertise in Russian military strategy, doctrine, capabilities, science and technology development, and/or political systems
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Advanced Russian language skills at ILR 2 or above for reading and listening
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively in teams, and lead small projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in area studies, intelligence studies, political science, security studies, international relations, data science, computer science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
