Job Responsibilities

  • Flexible Scheduling 🗓️: Be available to work shifts that include weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
  • Guest Experience 👥: Ensure the franchise and Shaner Brand Standards are met, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Policy Adherence 📋: Follow all facility, franchise, and Shaner policies diligently.
  • Massage & Body Services 💆‍♀️: Perform treatments according to established guidelines, meeting guest expectations and current licensure requirements.
  • Assessment & Safety 🚑: Evaluate contraindications to ensure safe service delivery, using universal precautions at all times.
  • Equipment & Environment 🧴: Clean and disinfect all equipment, maintain a neat and welcoming work area.
  • Product Knowledge & Recommendations 🛍️: Possess comprehensive knowledge of spa products, explain benefits to guests, and suggest home use products or additional treatments.
  • Record Keeping 📄: Maintain client records and treatment notes as appropriate.
  • Additional Duties 🔄: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, your primary role is to deliver high-quality massages and body treatments, creating a relaxing environment that leaves guests with lasting positive impressions.

Qualifications

  • Education 🎓: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing 📝: Valid state license in massage therapy or appropriate credentials.
  • Experience 🌟: At least one year of customer service experience; previous spa work preferred.
  • Knowledge 📚: Familiarity with professional spa treatments; previous massage experience a plus.
  • Communication 🗣️: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Relationship Building ❤️: Capable of establishing rapport with guests.
  • Languages 🗣️: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Customer Service & Work Ethic 💪: Exceptional service skills, organized, energetic, and motivated.
  • Professionalism 💼: Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and discretion.
  • Team Player 🤝: Works well with others and supports team objectives.
