Weatherby Law Firm. PC Is Hiring A Legal Assistant, Paralegal - Bilingual

We are a personal injury law firm based in Decatur, Georgia. We help injured people get compensation, with honesty, quickness, and kindness. We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) legal assistant or paralegal to join our team. We're seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, assertive, self-confident, emotionally mature, and self-directed person to work as a legal project manager. You should:

·        Be fluent in Spanish and English

·        Be responsible

·        Be honest and hard-working

·        Be detail oriented

·        Have good communication skills, especially written.

·        Enjoy learning and following systems

·        Have a good sense of humor

·        Know how to use: Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, Sharepoint, and be willing to get up to speed on Filevine (our case management software) and Law Ruler (our client intake software).


The legal project manager is responsible for managing personal injury cases. You will investigate claims and manage the process of ordering, tracking, and logging receipt of demand documentation like medical and wage records. You will be the point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, our independent contractors, and others. You will gather records, review records, organize files and create systems. You will also serve as a translator for our Spanish-speaking clients. Fluency is Spanish is required for this job.


We are a firm that is built on systems. Everything we do is systematized. One of your primary duties will be to implement systems that are in place, refine systems where needed, and build new systems where necessary.

Prior personal injury experience (3+ years) is preferred. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). It is in-person in office at our Decatur branch.
