Position Overview

As a Legal Assistant, you will aid attorneys with case preparation, communicate with clients effectively, and help keep our office operations smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation and documentation for personal injury litigation
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Manage case files and maintain organized records
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to provide updates and gather necessary information
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law
• Schedule and organize meetings, depositions, and court appearances
• Assist in trial preparation and ensure all necessary materials are ready

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role in a law firm, with preference in personal injury
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
